What the job looks like
This is a field position where you will travel between service locations throughout Downriver and Wayne County.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Driving between scheduled service appointments
- Inspecting homes and businesses for pest issues
- Applying pest control treatments according to company procedures
- Communicating clearly with customers about service findings and recommendations
- Completing service documentation using a smartphone or tablet
- Identifying pest activity and recommending appropriate solutions
You will work both
indoors and outdoors depending on the service.
Who This Job Is For
Experience in pest control is helpful but
not required.
The most important qualities are reliability, professionalism, and willingness to learn.

Work Environment
Pest control technicians work in a variety of environments
You should be comfortable with:
- Working outdoors in Michigan weather
- Entering basements, crawl spaces, and attics
- Using ladders when necessary
- Working around insects and rodents
- Driving between service appointments throughout the day

Compensation Structure
$20 to $25 per hour + commissions
